To specify the electrode and the workpiece

Use the Select Workpiece and Electrode Objects page to select a solid object that represents the workpiece you want to create the electrode for. You can also select a pre-modelled electrode object, or any surfaces created to aid electrode design.

1. Click Wizard tab > Electrode panel > Create.
   Note: If there is an active solid in the model, the Electrode Wizard automatically selects the solid as the workpiece, and the Select Region to Make Electrode page of the wizard is displayed.
2. On the Select Workpiece and Electrode Objects page, click Workpiece.
3. Select the solid object that represents the workpiece in the graphics window.
4. If you have a pre-modelled and registered solid on which you want to base the electrode, click Electrode and select it. You can also select any surfaces you have created to aid electrode design, for example shutout faces at the intersection of ribs.
