Use the Basic shapes tab to:
- specify the basic shape of the heel, using pre-defined profiles for the base and the top-piece.
- enter parameters for the basic shape when there is no reference surface.
- Select
Base.
- Choose a basic shape. Select:
Two arcs to create a heel shape defined by two arcs.
Trapezoid to create a heel shape defined by a trapezoid.
Ellipse to create a heel shape defined by an ellipse.
Two arcs and two lines to create a heel shape defined by two arcs and two lines.
Four arcs to create a heel shape defined by four arcs.
Default to create a default heel shape.
Different parameters are displayed for each basic shape.
- Enter a value or drag the sliders to change the parameters.
- Select the
Top-piece tab.
- Select a basic shape.
- Modify the parameters to create the required shape.
- Select
Create curves to trace pieces to create curves along the edges of the heel. Use these curves to create pieces on the heel; such as a heel cover or a
Louis
heel effect at the heel front.
