Tangent and normal graphic handles
To enable the tangent and normal graphic handles:
Select a point on the curve.
Right-click the point and select
Tangent and normal graphic handles
from the context menu.
Click and drag the handles to edit the curve:
Use the arrow handles
tangent
to the curve
to move the point, in a fixed direction, along the tangent.
Use the arrow handles
normal
to the curve
to move the point, in a fixed direction, along the normal.
Use the planar handles
to move the point across a 2D plane.
Use the centre handle
to move the point freely.
Note:
Moving the cursor over a handle highlights the handle, indicating that you can move it.
