To work with custom toolbars

Use the Toolbars tab of the Customise dialog to create up to four customised toolbars. To display the dialog, click File > Options > Customise Keyboard Shortcuts.

Create a custom toolbar

  1. Choose an unused custom toolbar slot, or an existing custom toolbar you want to edit, from the Toolbar list.

    You can also type in this box to give the selected custom toolbar a name.

  2. Choose the size you want the buttons to appear on the toolbar, using the Button size list.
  3. If you want to add a button from an existing toolbar:
    1. Choose Toolbar in the Type list.
    2. Choose the toolbar in the Toolbar list.
    3. Choose the button in the Item list.
    4. Click Add.
  4. If you want to add a command:
    1. Choose Command in the Type list.
    2. Enter the command in the Command box.
    3. Enter a description in the Description box.
    4. Click Add.

    A list of the items added to the toolbar are displayed on the right-hand side of the dialog.

Display a custom toolbar

  1. Right-click the Levels toolbar or status bar, and choose Custom.
  2. Choose the toolbar you want to display.

    Custom toolbars are displayed below the ribbon.
