To modify the dimensions of a custom component:
- Select the component from the custom catalog.
- The cells that contain the parameter short names and order codes in the Dimensions worksheet will be protected by default. Select Edit order codes in Excel to allow editing of these cells.
- Click
to open a MS-Excel spreadsheet containing the component details and dimensions. Using MS-Excel to edit the component details and dimensions breaks the link to the manufacturer's catalog. - Make the required changes to the data on the Dimensions worksheet and return to Choose a component dialog.
- Click Accept changes.
- Click OK to close the dialog and return to the Component Wizard. Changes to the dimensions are reflected in the Dimensions options, as shown below:
