Edge Matching > Width of curve - an example

Consider the spans in the following network of wireframe.

The spans are projected onto lines in the same plane .

Each point is projected onto the line .

PowerShape checks for points at approximately the same percentage along the line of a corresponding span .

If a point exists at approximately the same percentage along the line of a corresponding span, no point is added, otherwise a new point is projected from the line and added to the span.

Surface curves are added to the matching points.

The complete surface generated from the network of wireframe is shown below.

You can compare the above surface with the surface (shown below) created using the arc length option.
