The Clearances tab displays the parameters that are required for components such as guide pillars, ejector pins, screws, sprue bushes, support pillars and dowels. The parameters that are displayed are specific to the type of component you are creating.
The parameter labels, for example C1, C2, C3 and C4, refer to the dimensions on the graphic in the dialog.
Automatic clearances - If this option is selected, the mounting clearances C1, C2 and C3 have predefined values based on the following:
- Body diameter and Body length dimensions (selected on the Standard tab).
- Stroke dimension.
If Automatic clearances is deselected, the parameter boxes are available. Enter the clearances that you require.
