You can create a setup sheet that shows one or more configured views. An example of this is creating a configured combined setup sheet. The setup sheets are created from template drawings in the
electrode_template model in the
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Parts folder.
Configuring setup sheets enables you to:
- use additional sheets in
electrode_template.
- adjust the setting for each view.
- use the orientation as defined in the view.
- change the relative workplane.
- add balloons, dimensions, or the part itself to an individual view.
- define the size of the font to use for balloons or dimensions.
- specify if the view should be resized if the part is added.
- define individual templates (apart from the GA) to be suppressed or enabled as required.
- specify if the detail sheet should be treated as a configurable sheet or fixed as before.
- use the
Edit Drawing
dialog to specify the positioning of electrode balloons. By default, automatically positioned electrode balloons do not overlap the view border.
The lock on the
Edit View dialog locks the view direction of electrode template drawing. This is to maintain the position of the balloons in relation to the view.
If you have modified the electrode template model you must lock the views in your model to take advantage of this:
- Open the model.
- Display the drawings.
- Lock the views.
Configuring your setup sheets
You can configure your setup sheets in one of the following ways:
- Using the interface. This is the recommended method.
- Using the configuration file.
There is an example of a configured setup sheet in
electrode_template.psmodel. This setup sheet is suppressed by default in the electrode setup sheets configuration file.
