Use this option to create Bézier curves snapped to a surface or solid. A single Bézier curve can be snapped across multiple faces of a solid, but to only a single surface.
To create a Snapped Bézier curve:
- Click Wireframe tab > Create panel > Curve > Snapped.
- Click to specify key points on the model, which are joined to form the curve. You can:
- Press the Alt key to move the point onto the nearest surface edge as shown below.
- Press Ctrl + Alt to move the point to the surface edge while maintaining the straight nature of the curve.
- Click
on the Quick Access toolbar to complete the curve. The Snapped Bézier curve lies on the surface as shown below:
