The dialog box below enables defining a value of the coefficient of m moment distribution.
Values of the distribution coefficient are adopted according to table 18 (m LT) or table 26 (my and m z). Selection of the option Uniform moment or varying linearly (icon 1) or Moment at ends + transversal load (icon 6) causes the appropriate distribution coefficients to be automatically calculated in the program depending on the distribution of real bending moments along the member (segment) length.
If any of the remaining options is chosen, then the proper coefficient value for the selected load pattern is adopted. The user may, as well, define any coefficient value by entering an appropriate value into the edit field.
