Use this dialog to define parameters for steel member verification. Access the options by clicking the Options button in the Manual Verification dialog. The following dialog displays:
Three calculation parameters are defined:
- Efficiency Ratio - indicates the coefficient for calculations of the yield point.
- Maximum Slenderness - if this option is selected, member slenderness is verified. Additionally, the admissible (maximum) slenderness value is specified.
- Calculation method: according to limit states or allowable stresses (load type: I or II).
Moreover, you can select the units to be applied during the presentation of member design results. The results may be presented in the units used in the selected steel code, or in the units used in Robot.
