Use the Bolts tab to define bolts connecting the column flange with the front plate.
This tab is available only if Bolted connection is selected on the Geometry tab.
Specify parameters of bolts:
- family
- class.
Shear plane:
- Unthreaded portion
- Threaded portion.
The shear capacity of bolts depends on the shear plane location which passes through threaded part or unthreaded part
Arrangement of bolts:
- number of bolt rows
- number of bolt columns.
The following options allow defining positions of rows and columns with respect to each other and the position of the top row with respect to the upper edge of the front plate.
- horizontal spacing
- vertical spacing
- distance from the edge h1.
After selecting the Equal spacing option, the software specifies the same values for all elements from the list.
