Use this option to determine the support model and the type of variability of axial forces acting on an analyzed steel member. Proposed models correspond to cases described in point 6.3.2.2 of SE-A. Depending on a selected model, the member buckling length Lk is automatically calculated considering the ratio of min./max. axial forces acting in the currently-analyzed load case. The option is available by clicking the Variable axial load button located in the Buckling Diagrams dialog.
