After creating a curtain system that uses automatic grid creation, you can adjust the curtain grid lines if needed.
When first created, a curtain system uses an automatic grid layout based on the type properties. You can change the grid layout by adjusting the type properties or by moving individual grid lines, as needed.
To change the grid layout using type properties
- In a view, select the grid system.
- On the Properties palette, click Edit Type.
- Adjust the values for Layout, Spacing, and other parameters to achieve the desired layout.
See
Type-Driven Curtain Element Layout Type Properties.
To adjust individual grid lines in a curtain system
- In a view, select an individual grid line in the curtain system.
- Unpin the grid line.
As an alternative, on the Properties palette, change the Type Association parameter to Independent.
- Move the grid line to the desired location.
Note: You cannot pin the relocated grid line in place. If you do so, the Type Association parameter reverts to Dependent, and the grid line returns to its original location.
- Repeat this process for each grid line to be moved.
