When working in
Revit LT, you can link a
Revit model or a DWG model to the project.
A project created using
Revit may already contain linked models. Ask your
Revit collaborator whether these links use shared positioning.
If the links use shared positioning:
- Revit LT treats the links as if they are pinned in place. You cannot move them.
- If the survey point:
- is clipped to the shared coordinate system (using
Revit or
Revit LT), then
Revit LT treats the survey point in the project as if it is pinned in place. You cannot move the survey point.
- is not clipped, then you can move the survey point without affecting links or shared coordinates.
- For any elements that are pinned by shared coordinates:
- The element names are appended with
Pinned by Shared Positioning. This suffix displays on the status bar and in the drawing area when you move the cursor over an element or select it.
- These elements cannot be moved or unpinned.
