When you upgrade models to Autodesk Revit 2022, render settings set for the NVIDIA mental ray engine are mapped to Autodesk Raytracer settings to achieve a consistent rendering output.
Settings you specified in the model for the NVIDIA mental ray rendering engine are not lost when you upgrade, but are mapped to the appropriate options and values for Autodesk Raytracer, as detailed in the following table. Settings you specified in the model for the Autodesk Raytracer rendering engine option in Revit 2016 or 2016 R2 are not maintained during upgrade. You must define these settings after the model is upgraded to Autodesk Revit 2022.
