Revit Structure provides tools to create and maintain graphical column schedules in which you can view column data such as connection, size and material in a chart. Graphical column schedules are listed in the project browser when created. Columns are typically identified by their grid location. Their grid coordinates become their column location mark.

However, columns can touch single grid lines or lie outside of a grid and still be included within a graphical column schedule. Notice how columns not lying on a grid intersection are shown with offsets from the closest grid line.

To create the schedule, open the Schedules menu on the View tab and select the Graphical Column Schedule tool. After the schedule is generated, you can modify its attributes in the Properties palette.

You can further customize the graphical column schedule by adjusting its view properties, such as visual style and level of detail. You can filter the schedule by specific column materials or adjust the appearance of text and grids.
