When exporting the model, select the views and sheets to include in the output. Save the set for later re-use.
To define view/sheet sets, first open the related Export dialog: click File tab ExportCAD Formats, and select the desired format for export.
Identify views and sheets to include in the exported file using the tools available in the Export dialog.
Note: Sets do not need to be saved or validated. They maintain their last configured status at all times.
To export the current view
- For Export, select <current view/sheet only>. Notice that the only view listed and selected is the currently active view. The view is selected by default and is output with the exported file.
To create a new set to export
- Click
(New Set).
- Enter a name in the New Set dialog and click OK.
The new set displays for Export.
- To filter your view choices, for Show in list, select Views in the Model, Sheets in the Model, or All views and sheets in the Model.
- To specify views for the set, select Include for each view desired.
The set is now available for use and may be selected from the Export drop-down list.
To create a new set by duplicating another
- For Export, select the set to be duplicated.
- Click
(Duplicate Set).
- Enter a name in the Duplicate Set dialog and click OK.
The new set will display for Export.
The set is now available for use and may be selected from the Export drop-down list. If the set is to be adjusted with different views and sheets, proceed with the following steps.
- To filter your view choices, for Show in list, select Views in the Set, Sheets in the Set, or All views and sheets in the Set.
- To specify views for the set, select or clear Include for each view in the set.
