About Plants and Entourage

Entourage includes the landscaping and other environmental features shown in a rendering of a building.

For example, entourage can include plants, trees, people, cars, signs, and office clutter (such as picture frames and computers).

Similar to model elements in Revit, entourage objects are defined in Revit families. Revit provides a library of entourage families. If you have additional entourage objects that you want to use in projects, you can add them to existing families, or create families for them.

In 2D and 3D views, entourage is represented using simple line drawings as placeholders.

In a 3D view, you can use the realistic visual style for a better representation of the entourage.

When you render a 3D view, a photorealistic representation of the entourage displays in the rendered image.
