What is Product Feedback and why participate?

The Product Feedback survey makes it easy for you to share your feedback in-product and let us know how you are feeling about Revit. We use this data to uncover hidden problem areas and opportunities. The Product Feedback survey helps us gauge your satisfaction with the overall product, command designs, and performance as you use them for everyday modeling.

How often will I see Product Feedback surveys?

We limit the frequency of Product Feedback surveys to minimize disruption. In addition, we keep these surveys quick and easy.

What data is collected?

We map basic profile data, such as your location and industry, and specific interaction data to your user ID to make sure we only send surveys relevant to you and the way you use our products.

How is the collected data used?

We use the data you provide to:

Better understand your satisfaction with Autodesk products, in general, as well as with specific product functionality and commands.
Help guide Autodesk's efforts in improving our products and services in order to increase our customer satisfaction.
Uncover hidden problem areas and opportunities in our products and services.

How do I turn off Product Feedback?

You can disable the Product Feedback survey during a custom install by deselecting the option for Product Feedback for Revit, under Optional Components.

Once installed, you can turn off the Product Feedback survey at any time.

To disable Product Feedback in Revit, do the following:

Navigate to the following folder:
%APPDATA%\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 2022
Open Revit.ini in a text editor.
Locate the following line in the file:
```
[Misc]
DisableProductFeedback=0
```
Change to the setting to 1.
```
[Misc]
DisableProductFeedback=1
```
Save changes to Revit.ini, and restart Revit.
