Specify Default Space Type Settings

Use the Building/Space Type Settings dialog to create, duplicate, rename, or delete space types.

1. Click Manage tabSettings tabMEP SettingsBuilding/Space Type Settings.

   The Building/Space Type Settings dialog opens.

   Note: You can also access the Space Type Settings dialog from the Instance Properties for a selected space.
2. Click Space Type, and select a type from the list.

   You can use the filter to locate a specific space type in the list.

3. In the right panel, adjust individual parameters as needed.
4. Click the value field for a schedule (Occupancy, Lighting, or Power Schedule), and click to open the Schedule Settings dialog and select or adjust a schedule.
5. Use the following tools to create and modify space types:
   • To create a space type, click (New). Enter a name for the space type, and click OK.
   • To duplicate a space type, click (Duplicate). Enter a name for the space type, and click OK.
   • To rename a space type, click (Rename). Enter a new name for the space type, and click OK.
   • To delete a space type, click (Delete). Click Yes to confirm.
6. Click OK.
