Use the Workplane Viewer to modify work plane-based elements of the model.
The Workplane Viewer provides a temporary view that is not maintained in the Project Browser.
This feature is useful when editing profiles in forms, sweeps, and swept blends.
The Workplane Viewer is available from all model views in the project environment. The default orientation is the active work plane of the last active view.
The sample images in the following procedure use this sweep as the starting point:
To edit with the Workplane Viewer
- Select a work plane or element profile.
- Select Modify | <Element> tab

Viewer.
The Workplane Viewer opens to the appropriate 2D view zoomed to the extents of the model.
- Edit the model as needed.
When you make changes in a project view or in the Workplane Viewer, other views are updated in real time.
