You can exclude parts from the project so that they will not be included in material takeoffs, schedules, and other lists or calculations.
An excluded part is visible only when highlighted under the cursor or selected. An excluded part can be restored to the model as needed.
To exclude a part from the model
- Select the part.
- Click Modify | Parts tab
Exclude panel 
(Exclude Parts).
To restore an excluded part
- Move the cursor over the part to highlight it, then click to select it.
- Click Modify | Parts tab Exclude panel
(Restore Parts), or click the control (Restore excluded part) that displays next to the selected part in the drawing area.
