You can import or link raster images and PDF files in 2D model views.

You can manipulate a image or PDF in a view in the following ways.
- Move, mirror, copy or rotate.
- Add, Place an Instance, Import, Reload, Reload From, Unload, or Remove using the Manage Links dialog.
- Send the image or PDF files to front or back.
- Change image or PDF file scale and proportions.
- Place images or PDF files in schedules.
You can also manipulate imported PDF files in the following ways.
- To select one page of a multiple-page PDF file to place in a view, use Image in the Insert tab.
- If an imported PDF file has vector data, you can
snap to it by picking whole lines, an endpoint, or midpoint. You can use this to trace building plans, for example.
- To change to a different page of a PDF, use Reload From.
- To specify a new resolution for the PDF, use Reload From.
- To add more pages from the same PDF document, use Image in the Insert tab.
