The tooltip window opens but does not play video as expected.
Issue: This issue will occur when ToolClips™ (mini-videos) run within tooltips on a system that does not have a media player installed. ToolClips™ are short MP4 video files. You must have a media player installed to your operating system in order to play the MP4 file.
Solution: Install a media player capable of playing MP4 files. Set your operating system to use this player for MP4 files by default.
To prevent ToolClips™ from playing in the future, set Tooltip assistance to Minimal, as follows:
- Click File tab
Options.
- On the User Interface tab, for Tooltip assistance, select Minimal.
The software displays only brief descriptions of tools, suppressing the display of additional information, including images and ToolClips™. In-canvas tooltips display as usual.
