Printing of drawing failed

This message appears when a Revit drawing fails to print. This may occur for any of the following reasons:

Restarting Revit due to resource contentions or other system problems

Batch Print monitors system resource usage during the processing of a batch print job. If it determines that there are not enough resources (such as memory) to process a drawing, or if a system failure is detected, Batch Print restarts Revit. Restarting Revit often restores sufficient system resources to enable successful continuation of the batch print job.

System failures may include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Some add-ins could not be loaded. Make sure that all add-ins are correctly configured.
  • The rendering library is not correctly installed. Make sure the installation succeeds without any errors.
  • The license numbers for some components (e.g. keynote manager) are not complete, causing some license dialogs to display during startup. Enter the license number or uninstall the component.
  • Print is not working. Test the Print function on the application menu and make sure it's working.

No action is required. However, if the Revit software or other applications are open, it is recommended that you close them. This makes more system resources available for the batch print job.
