A flexible method for defining circuit naming schemes helps support conventions in different regions of the world.
Prior to this enhancement, electrical circuits were identified based on a hard-coded integer numbering scheme. Additionally, options to customize the circuit identifiers were limited. This enhancement is targeted to support France and UK conventions. However, the improvements may also be useful in other regions.
