Select All Instances Enhancements

You can use Select All Instances on more element categories and with multiple element types selected.

Additional Categories/Elements

The following have been added as valid elements for Select All Instances:

• Rooms
• Areas *
• Spaces
• Room separation lines
• Space separation lines
• Area boundary lines *
• Insulation lines
• Matchlines
• Reference lines (Family Editor)
• Reference planes
• Revision clouds **
• Property lines **
• Model lines ***
• Detail lines ***

* For areas and area boundary lines, functionality is limited to elements within all views of that area scheme only.

** For revision clouds and property lines, functionality is limited to Select All Instances > Visible in View Only.

*** For model lines and detail lines, the selection is filtered by the type of line (model or detail) and then by the line style.

Selecting Multiple Types of Elements

When you select multiple types of elements, you can access Select All Instances > Visible in View Only or Select All Instances > In Entire Project. Access may be limited depending on the type of elements selected. (See the section above for limitations).
