Display Contrasting Rows in a Schedule

To make a large schedule easier to read, set the Stripe Rows feature to display rows in contrasting colors.

When designers or project managers are working with wide schedules on sheet view, they need the schedule to be easy to read. Some schedules are very wide, and have so much information that it can be difficult to follow the row. Designers may have trouble tracking a row across a wide schedule. The Stripe Rows for schedules on sheet view feature enables designers to display a schedule view with visual differentiation between the data in adjacent rows on a sheet.

You can set alternate rows to display in contrasting colors to make it easier to follow rows in a wide schedule. Access the stripe rows controls using the Properties palette for a schedule. Shading and conditional formatting can override the Stripe Rows setting when they are applied to a schedule.

Note: Stripe Rows is set for the current view and the current Revit session only. Stripe Rows does not apply to panel schedules or graphical schedules. Striped rows are presented in a sheet view so that tools can be created to display striped rows on shop drawings.

This feature was suggested by customers on the Ideas forum and is described on the product road map.
