Add and Modify Symbols

You can modify the appearance of symbols through their properties. You can change properties before or after you place the symbol.

To add a symbol

• Navigate to Annotate Symbol, choose a symbol type, and click in the drawing area to place your chosen symbol.

To add a leader line to a symbol

• Select the symbol and using Modify¦Generic Annotation Leader: Add.

To delete a leader line

• Select a leader line and right-click to remove it.

To edit symbol properties, do one of the following

• Select the symbol, and use the Properties palette to modify instance properties.
• Select the symbol, and on the Properties palette, click (Edit Type), to modify type properties.
