Color Management Options in VRED Design

Color management options, such as Simple Gamma, were added to VRED Design. Now, for example, a .vbp file saved in VRED Professional with a custom gamma can be loaded into VRED Design with the gamma value preserved. Find the color management options in the Render Settings > Display Output > Color section.
