Best Practices: AutoCAD Mechanical and Vault (Items and BOMs)

This best practices guide establishes a baseline for using AutoCAD Mechanical with Autodesk Vault for integrated Bill of Materials management workflows.

Statement of Scope

This guide is intended to highlight best practice workflows. Only where necessary will configuration and administration settings be highlighted, such as critical settings that enable suggested workflows.

Startup workflows such as installation, Vault configuration, file and item configuration, and data loading are not highlighted.
