Extract Item Data

Create a job that generates a BOM object for selected CAD files that are missing BOM information with the Extract Item Data command.

Note: The job server must be enabled before using this feature.

1. Select the CAD files for which you want to create a BOM object.
2. Select Actions > Extract Item Data.

   A job described as Extract Item Data <file name> is added to the job queue, where <file name> is the CAD file being processed.
