Use the Export Property Set To XML command to transfer property set data from one drawing to another drawing by using an XML file. Use this command in conjunction with the Import Property Set From XML command.
To transfer property set data from one drawing to another, you can use the Export Property Set To XML command to create an XML file containing the property set, and then import that file into another drawing using the Import Property Set From XML command.
- In the Toolspace, on the Toolbox tab, expand SHP Import/Export Utilities
SHP Import/Export Settings. Double-click Export Property Set Settings To XML.
- Specify a name and location for the file in the Save Property Set Information File dialog box and click Save.
