Note: Plant projects should not include special characters such as ( ‘, ?!).
- Open the Plant project you want to share to Autodesk Docs.
Note: The existing project you share will be copied to the cloud, your local project remains untouched.
- On the ribbon, click
.
- In the Collaboration for Plant 3D dialog box, click Get Started.
- If you're not already logged in to Autodesk Docs, sign in using your Autodesk ID and password.
- A drop-down list shows the Autodesk Docs accounts you belong to. Select the Autodesk Docs project folder you want to work on.
Note: If you don't belong to a project or account, a dialog box is displayed with information about creating an Autodesk Construction Cloud™ account or an Autodesk Docs project.
- Click Upload Project.
Note: Depending on how large a project is, uploading may take a while to complete.
A prompt about the successful upload to cloud is displayed.
- (Optional) Click Invite my Team to invite or add more team members.
- Click Close to start working in your cloud project.
The local project that you had opened is now closed. The current project in the app is the new cloud-hosted project where you can create new drawings and edit existing ones.
Note: The icon next to the uploaded project is changed to indicate that it's a collaboration project.
