The Geotechnical Modeler supports both the industry specific AGS 4.0 file format and the more generic CSV file format for import into the project database. Users of dedicated geotechnical, and subsurface software that utilizes the AGS 4.0 format can easily connect their geotechnical data to Civil 3D projects. The CSV format permits you to develop and enter data in a simple text-based file format without the need for specialized software when AGS data is not available for your project. The Autodesk Geotechnical Modeler will verify the format and contents of all imported AGS 4.0 and CSV subsurface data files.
