Snow/wind loads - American code ASCE 7-16

After specifying general structure parameters necessary for generating snow/wind loads (envelope, spacing, and depth) for the American ASCE 7-16 snow and wind code, you need to specify the parameters of snow and wind loads.

The Snow/Wind Loads dialog has 4 tabs:

• General parameters
• Wind
• Snow
• Permeability.

In addition to the standard buttons OK, Cancel, and Help at the bottom of the dialog, there are the following 2 buttons:

• Generate - Starts generating the snow and wind loads based on the parameter values specified in the Snow/wind Loads dialog. This automatically creates load cases for a structure according to the requirements of the selected snow/wind load code.
• Generate 3D - Opens the Snow/Wind Loads - 3D Geometry dialog.
