The Section definition tab presents parameters of the cross-section of an RC column.
The tab consists of two parts.
- A view of the cross-section (a contour with presented reinforcing bars)
- Several tables of information.
- Nodes of the cross-sectional contour (node numbers and coordinates)
- Contour edges (numbers of edges, edge nodes, information about exposure to fire)
- Reinforcing bars (locations of bars, reinforcing bar area).
Currently the parameters listed above are not possible as all of them are read from an RC column calculated in Robot.
Note: In the current version of the calculator, exposed to fire is the only type of the edge of the column cross section. All edges of a section are exposed to fire.
