You can create new windows and manage the way in which multiple windows are displayed.
New windows are useful for viewing different aspects of the same model at the same time, which cannot be done in the single window.
If you have multiple windows, you can organize them in one of the following ways.
- Tile windows horizontally or vertically in order to distribute them evenly in the display area.
- Cascade windows in order to swap between them while keeping the size of each window relatively large.
You can also divide a window in two, three, or four and use predefined patterns to distribute them automatically in the display area.
To create a new window
- Click Window
New Window
Note: After creating the new window, the titles will change to View:1, View:2, to indicate the original model and the duplicate window.
To tile windows
- Click Window Tile Horizontally, or
- Click Window Tile Vertically
To divide an distribute windows automatically
- Click Window Divide, and then select one of the display patterns. Note: Click Window Divide 1 Window to close all additional windows, and display the original view only.
