Connection Type - Beam-Principal Beam

The connection is available for Eurocode 3 (EN 1993-1-8:2005) and the Polish code PN-90/B-03200.

The following connection types are available in the software:

For a connection with the principal beam web, you can define a one-sided or two-sided connection. For a connection with the principal beam flange, a one-sided connection can be defined.

All elements connecting the principal beam to the beam can be connected with bolts or welds.

Note: For a two-sided connection, you can use the Symmetry option to specify a symmetrical connection. All elements defined for the right side of the connection will be copied to the left side.

Depending on a connecting element type, it is possible to connect the beam to a connecting element by means of bolts or welds. If support seats are used, you can connect a support seat to the principal beam.

In the present version of the software, no connection categories are distinguished for the connection; all bolt classes are treated as regular bolts.
