Define a new corrugated sheet type

Follow the steps below to define a new corrugated sheet type.

Ensure that Steel/Aluminium Design is selected in the list of layouts.
  1. Click Parameters in the Definitions dialog. The Member Definition - Parameters dialog displays.
    Note: Alternatively, click Design Steel Members Design - Options Code parameters to open the Member Type dialog, and then click New.
  2. Select Thin-walled sections in the Member Definition - Parameters dialog, and then click Thin-walled to open the Thin-walled section dialog.
  3. Click New sheeting. The Corrugated Sheetings dialog displays.
  4. Enter a name for the new sheet in the Sheeting name box.
  5. Specify the required parameters for the sheet.
    • Minimum thickness.
    • Corrugation width.
    • Width of the sheeting flange through which it is fastened to the purlin.
    • Moment of inertia of the sheeting cross-section per meter.
  6. Click Add to database to save the new corrugated sheet to the database.
