Use this option to define additional parameters of a timber member. Access the option by clicking the Service button in the Member Definition - Parameters dialog. The following dialog displays:
Limit displacements are defined as member deflection in the directions X and Y, resultant deflection yz, and node displacements in the directions X and Y. Additionally, while defining member limit deflections, you can determine if a member is a cantilever.
In the lower part of the dialog, define the following parameters of members with camber:
- Control of displacements with camber considered - if selected, then during member verification/design a camber value will be included.
- A camber value is specified using either of the following two ways:
- by entering the camber value in the User-defined camber field
- by assuming the camber value calculated automatically on the basis of dead loads (the Automatic camber option).
