The General tab of the Definition of calculation parameters dialog box for BS Code:
Concrete parameters are defined 3 ways.
- When the As in a structure model option is selected, needed material parameters are assigned from the data used for static calculations of structures.
- Giving a concrete grade from a provided list.
- Defining the fcu value of concrete resistance.
If a structure light concrete is needed, select the Light concrete option.
The following parameters can be defined.
- Exposure
- Cracking value
At the bottom of the dialog, Reinforcement control (EC2 4.4.2.3) checks reinforcement for cracking.
