Uninstalling 3ds Max

Use the Windows Control Panel to uninstall individual product components.

Note: Remember that some peripherals, such as the Material Library, are shared across products. Don't remove them unless you intend to remove all Autodesk products.

Note: All components are uninstalled when 3ds Max is uninstalled; however, should you wish to uninstall individual components, you are able to do so for select components using Add or Remove Programs.

To uninstall:

1. From the Windows Start menu, open the Control Panel and select Uninstall a Program.
2. Select Uninstall for each peripheral or program you want to remove.
   Note: Uninstall peripherals such as plugins before uninstalling the main program.
3. Restart your computer if prompted.
