When using Civil View, the GIF Checker Tool finds GIF files and gives you the option to replace them with PNG files.
GIF files can often be found in Country Resource Kits. Unfortunately, GIF files are not compatible with the Arnold Renderer. The GIF Checker tool gives you a simple way to automatically replace GIF files with PNG files to ensure renderer compatibility.
Interface
- OK
- Converts any selected files, saves changes, and closes the dialog.
- Apply
- Converts the selected file(s) but does not save changes or close the dialog.
- Cancel
- Closes the dialog without saving any changes.
Procedures
When the GIF Checker Tool opens, the Material, ID, and Suggested Replacement Image are automatically populated with any GIFs found. Select one or more GIF files from the list and click Apply to convert to replacement PNG files. When ready to save all changes, click OK. To close without saving, click Cancel.
