System requirements

The retopology tools are supported by systems capable of running 3ds Max 2021 and higher.

Installing and uninstalling Retopology Tools for 3ds Max

There are two methods for installing the Retopology Tools:

Autodesk Desktop App:

1. Open the Autodesk Desktop app.
2. Log in to your account, if necessary.
3. Choose the 3ds Max category on the left-hand side.
4. Scroll down the list and select Autodesk Retopology tools for 3ds Max.
5. Click Install.

Autodesk Portal:

1. Log into your Autodesk account at manage.autodesk.com.
2. Navigate to the installer MSI for the retopology tools.
3. Download the installer and manually install.

Uninstalling Retopology Tools for 3ds Max

You can uninstall the tools manually.

1. In Search Windows, type Programs.
2. Select Add or Remove Programs.
3. Select Retotopology Tools 3ds Max.
4. Click Uninstall.
5. Let the uninstall process conclude, then reboot your PC.
