You can use these parameters as a debugging tool. They do not influence the animation. The parameters work only at the Control Particles sub-object level of the Particle Skinner modifier.
Note: The display options are not supported in Bounding Box viewports. Use them in wireframe or shaded viewports only.
Interface
- Display Control Particles
- When on, shows the control particles as small filled squares: yellow for unselected particles and red for selected.
Note: You can see the markers only if they're not obscured by the particles' visual representations as drawn by a
Display operator. For best results, set the Display operator
Type=Ticks or None.
- Display Influence
- Shows the influence of selected control particles in the form of "blobs." Available only when Display Control Particles (see preceding) is on.
- Display Unassigned Points
- When on, draws small, red, square outlines around vertices that have no skinning control from the particles. This option works only when the skinning is activated via the Activate Skinning button.
