In this example, you will create a tube bracing connected with sandwich plates.
Locate the tools for creating a bracing system and its connections:
- Extended Modeling tab Structural Elements panel
- On the Connection Vault in the Tube Connections category.
- Set the UCS perpendicular to the plane where the bracing needs to be created.
- On the Extended Modeling tab Structural Elements panel, click
(Bracing).
- Enter the start point corresponding to the bottom end of the first column.
- Enter the end point of the ascending diagonal at the top end of the second column. Zoom in to make sure you select the correct points using the NODE snap.
The bracing is created and can be modified in the dialog.
- On the Connection Vault, from the Tube Connections category, select
- Select the three objects to connect: the column, the base plate and the bracing tube beam.
