AECSELECTSIMILAR (Command)

Finds all architecture objects within the current drawing that match the properties of selected objects, and then adds them to the selection set.

Find

With AECSELECTSIMILAR, you first select one or more objects. All objects in the current drawing that have the same properties are automatically added to the selection set. With the Settings option, you specify which properties to match, such as color or block name. Using this command ensures that all architecture objects are selected. Using the SELECTSIMILAR command may not include architecture objects in its selection.

Specify one or more sample objects with the properties that you want to match.

Settings

Displays the Select Similar Settings dialog box, where you can specify which properties to match.

By default, these are set to match only the layer and object type.
