To Control the Display of Command Tooltips

You can change the display of command tooltips. For extended tooltips you can define a time interval between the display of the basic tooltip and the extended tooltip.

1. Click Options.
2. Click the Display tab.
3. Under Window Elements, select Show Tooltips.
4. If you want to change the time interval between displaying the basic tooltip and the extended tooltip, select a different value for Number of seconds to delay. If you want to turn off the extended tooltip information completely, deselect Show extended Tooltips.
5. Click OK.
